Gorgeous work, I like how things seem to be out of this world, but they fit together so well, so naturally that nothings seems out of place or strange.

Wow, that' face! The texture of the skin and movement of the hair is really good. Great work and congrats on the Spring feature in Grim Gloom.

Im Russian, and i approve of this

The mood is slightly off, but still VERY good. the reason im saying that its slightly off is because she is supposed to look more gnarly, and her clothes to be less western, and more traditional Slavic. Like she is portrayed here: [link]

Your study is wonderful! I love the Baba Yaga concept. Great textures. I can see her house, and it's legs : D

Is this from the sierra game of quest for glory? They had baba Yaga in the game with her house having bird feet.

No... just a personal piece. The folklore character of Baba Yaga is known to dwell in a hut on chicken legs so the concept is not unique to the game you mention.

:D I know that, I just didn't realize that in the myth the house had bird feet, I've only seen pictures of Baba Yaga's house from the "Quest for glory" game by Sierra.

Love baba yaga - this is brilliantly done, the colours are very vibrant. Are you using underlayer tones?

Thanks. I use an acrylic underpainting, but to be honest, it becomes almost entirely covered in oil paint.
